Two New Webster's Pages Mid-Releases

Have you been to the Webster's Pages blog this week? Well in case you haven't, here is the news! They released TWO new mid release collections and they are gorgeous!

Here is Citrus Squeeze. I have already created a couple of layouts with this collection. I love it to pieces! So many possibilities with this collection!

Here is Plum Seed. Playing with this collection right now. Love the warm tones in this one! See the woodgrain paper? Those are one of my favorite papers in this collection! There are actually two of them. One is teal colored and the other beige.

Which one do you like best? Or are you like me and like them both? Let me know. I would love to hear what you think! :)

Birthday Girl

Happy Monday everyone! I hope all the mamas had a great Mother's Day. Mine was a bit hectic but overall it was a great day for me. I spent time baking, scrapping, and playing with my kids. All my favorite things I like to do!

Speaking of scrapbooking, I started working on layouts from the girls' birthdays this year. This one is from my oldest's birthday. I can't believe my baby girl is eight already! Gah! She is such a big girl and I love her to pieces! I had fun cutting out the stars with my Cameo and using the Trend Setter collection from Fancy Pants Designs.

How do you document your kid's birthday photos? I have plans for a couple of mini albums since I have too many pictures to scrap.

Something New is Coming

My oldest daughter has a way to make you smile when your day is gloomy. I love that about her! She is such a character and a bit over protective of myself and her little sister. Sometimes I have to remind her that she still is a kid and needs to enjoy it while she can.

Here Aryanna is being her fashionista self.

Supplies: Modern Romance Paper Little Gifts, Modern Romance Paper Daydreaming, Modern Roman Paper Weekend Getaway, Modern Romance Paper Love Defined, Composition & Color Paper Notes, Composition & Color This Way, Polka Dot Mini Bows.

In case you have not seen it....there is something new arriving at Webster's Pages next week. Here is a little peek. Can you guess what it is?

A Little NSD Love

Felix is the best cat in the world. Ok. I might be a bit biased since he is my kitty but he really is. He is such a cuddlebug. He loves to be held and purrs when you do. He is great with my kids. Heck, he lets them put him in a stroller and push him around the living room. He is the perfect cat!

I played with the new Maggie Holmes collection from Crate Paper for NSD this weekend. I just love the subtle tones of the beige mixed with the teal.

I love to cluster things on my layouts. For this layout, I placed items in the envelope. It served as a great place holder.

Well folks, the week is half over. I am looking forward to a fun weekend filled with dance recitals, gardening, and scrapping!

I Can See!

A month ago, my daughter had a hard time seeing things far away. At first it did not bother her too much until the headaches started. She would have them everyday she came home from school. I knew it was time to visit the optometrist. After trying on numerous glasses, she finally found the perfect one.

When we picked up her glasses the next day, she was so thrilled at how much better she could see! Every few minutes she would lower and raise her glasses and say, "Mommy look! Now it's fuzzy and now it's clear! Look at all the things I can see now!" I am so happy she loves her glasses. Seeing is so important and I want to see all the beauty the world has to offer.

This layout was created with some of the new collections from Webster's Pages.

Supplies: Modern Romance Paper Weekend Getaway, Composition & Color Paper This Way, Composition & Color Paper Kaleidoscope, Sweet Notes Paper Noteworthy, Modern Romance Washi Tape, Sweet Notes Alpha Stickers, Quick Picks Baker's Twine.

I used twine to stitch the arrows. I love the two tone effect of the twine!

I am loving the arrow trend right now. You just might see more in my upcoming layouts!

Fancy Friday

Tomorrow is National Scrapbook Day and I am rearing to go! I have pictures printed. Paper and embellishments sprawled out all over the floor. I am ready to get my scrap on!

While we wait for the fun to begin, let me introduce to you my first Project Life endeavors. Yes you read that correctly. I took the leap…

Project Life is such a huge trend right now. I have been toying with the idea of making my own Project Life album. At first, I was against it. I did not think I’d have the time or energy to create a 2 page spread every. single. week. After researching what others were doing, I came across a smaller version of this album and thought, hey… I can do this! It does not have to be every week. I actually plan on combining several weeks together at times. Maybe even do a month spread if time escapes me. Either way, it will be a neat way to document my life as it is right now. This way I can incorporate some of my pictures that never seem to make it to a layout.

Here is a little sneak of one of my first Project Life spreads. For the full reveal, check out this post at Fancy Pants Designs.

A Curious Kit

Happy Thursday everyone! It's only 2 more days until National Scrapbook Day! I can't wait to join in on all the fun stuff going on that day. I plan to scrap all day. Ok. Most of the day since I have to eat at some point.

Today I wanted to show you the new May kit from Scrapbooking from the Inside Out. It is packed full of Webster's Pages, Cosmo Cricket, and American Craft goodies. This kit is a blast to work with!

The theme of this kit is curiosity. What are you curious about now or in the past? When I was about 16 I had this idea to attempt to bake a cake and surprise my mom when she got home. Boy was that cake ever a flop! I forgot to add the baking powder and the middle was not baked through. Both my parents still tried the cake. Well the part that actually baked through. The flavor was not bad but I was determined to do it right. Years later, I still love to bake and have gotten better at it with time and practice.

Stop by and grab your kit before it's gone!
